I am the President of Haiti Scholars, a nonprofit dedicated to providing children in Haiti with access to quality education, healthcare, food support, and humanitarian aid. My heart became connected to Haiti in 2014 during a mission trip with my daughter. That experience opened my eyes to the reality that many children in Haiti do not have the opportunity to attend school, and I knew I had to do something to help.

My career began as a first-grade teacher, and over the years, I have worn many hats—piano teacher, photographer, and special education assistant. However, my greatest passion has been leading Haiti Scholars, where I work alongside a resilient and dedicated team in the United States and Haiti. I firmly believe that every child, no matter where they live, deserves the gift of education. Education empowers a child with hope, resilience, and the ability to thrive as an individual.

I live in Naperville, IL, with my wonderful husband, and we have three grown children. My journey with Haiti Scholars has been life-changing, and I am deeply grateful for the people and connections that have shaped this incredible mission.
