Nicole Bio
Nicole is the President of Haiti Scholars, a nonprofit organization committed to providing children in Haiti with access to quality education, healthcare, food support, and humanitarian aid. Her connection to Haiti began in 2014 during a mission trip with her daughter—a transformative experience that opened her eyes to the harsh reality that many children in Haiti lack the opportunity to attend school. That trip sparked a calling she could not ignore.
Nicole’s professional journey began as a first-grade teacher, and over the years, she has taken on various roles including piano teacher, photographer, and special education assistant. Yet, her greatest passion has been leading Haiti Scholars. She works alongside a resilient and dedicated team in both the United States and Haiti, united by the belief that every child—regardless of where they live—deserves the gift of education. She views education as a powerful force that equips children with hope, resilience, and the ability to thrive.
Based in Naperville, Illinois, Nicole lives with her supportive husband, and they have three grown children. Her work with Haiti Scholars has been a life-changing journey, one she carries forward with deep gratitude for the people and connections that continue to shape this extraordinary mission.
